Jim Howard is a multi-talented, results oriented Human Resources Professional with an extensive background in both the private and public sector. He is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experiences in several Fortune 500 Companies.
Jim began his career as a technical recruiter for the Sales and Field Service division He has held key management roles where he has earned a reputation for being a savvy and fair-minded professional. His achievements include successful implementation of several major human resources programs and systems. He has the ability to gain management’s trust and cooperation on strategic talent management initiatives.
Jim left the corporate environment to begin his private consulting business. As a consultant he has used his years of experience in corporations such as Xerox, DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) Oracle, Apple, Citibank and Bank of America to provide consulting and recruiting services to both the private and public sectors. In 2015 he earned the credential of CVDC (Certified Veteran’s Development Coach) to assist veterans with their transitions to civilian life. Jim is certified in the use of several career development assessment tools. His experience includes diversity training and negotiation skills. He has taught at Cal State University, Sacramento School of Continuing Education. He attended Northeastern University majoring in business administration.
