2017Careers in International Relations
It is very clear today that we live in a global society. What affects people in one country or a particular region of the world, affects us all in someway.
As you consider careers, explore careers in International Relations. The fields of Public Diplomacy and Foreign Service need individuals with a variety of backgrounds.
Public Diplomacy deals with governments communicating and influencing public attitudes. This influence may take the form of government sponsored programs in other countries. According to the Planning Group for Integration of USIA into the Department of State – public diplomacy seeks to promote the national interests of the United States through understanding, informing and influencing foreign audiences. If international relations are of interest to you, consider applying to the Donald Payne International Development Fellowship Program 2018.
